How do I know what materials to buy?

With each drawing follows a bill of materials and an instruction guiding you through the work processes. You are welcome to contact crafts@scandinavianfurnitureplans.com for further guidance at any time.

In what format do I get my drawing?

The CAD drawings delivered by scandinavianfurnitureplans.com are in dwg.format and can be opened and printed from any CAD program which support this format.  

You can choose to get your drawing printed on paper.

How do I printout my CAD-drawing?

If you have not installed a CAD program on your computer, or does your CAD program not allow the ”Tile” facility in the printout, you can download a free CAD-viewer from the web. Find a CAD-viewer here. A CAD-viewer program enables you to ”Tile” - split the drawing into e.g. A4 sections in order to print them out on a regular printer.

What kind of printer should I use?

Digital drawings from scandinavianfurnitureplans.com can be printed on a regular sized A4-printer and be assembled to a 1:1 drawing just like the one you can choose to have sent by mail.

Did anyone make this furniture before?

All pieces of furniture are tested out models, where the designers have made the first prototypes themselves.

How many copies of a certain model may I make?

When buying a drawing from this site, you will get a licence to make the model in question for private non-commercial use. Should you be interested in getting a licence for commercial use, send a mail to admin@scandinavianfurnitureplans.com and get a quotation.

What if the result of my efforts are not as expected ?

All documentation from scandinavianfurnitureplans.com, drawings as well as any written material must be considered as guidelines. scandinavianfurnitureplans.com cannot be held responsible for any actual work carried out.

How do I buy a drawing?

When you have found a suitable drawing, you can go to our online orderpage and place the order. If you do not wish to pay by credit card, it is possible to pay by cheque – contact admin@scandinavianfurnitureplans.com.

What means of payment can I use?

Are there any hidden fees to pay?

If you choose to get your drawing in digital format, the price stated below the picture of the furniture applies. Should you choose the drawing in paper format, the price consists of two elements: the normal price + print and shipment - the second price mentioned. There are no additional fees.

When do i get my drawing?

Not later than 24 hours after scandinavianfurnitureplans.com has received validation of your payment from Kagi, we will send you an e-mail containing the drawing, a bill of materials and working instructions together with instructions on printing the drawing.

Will my personal information be disclosed?

At scandinavianfurnitureplans.com your name, address and e-mail address is kept on file that no one else has access to. The customer information at scandinavianfurnitureplans.com will not be disclosed or sold to any third party. Your information will only be used in marketing towards you provided that you have accepted this explicitly.
